The Prince's Trust Celebrates 40th Anniversary
I was very humbled to receive an email this morning thanking me for my contribution towards The Prince's Trust as they approach their 40th Anniversary. Having previously volunteered as a business guru for the trust, I can honestly say the work they do to help young people is incredible and invaluable. I would definitely act as an advocate for anyone considering volunteering their time and skills to the cause.
The email received is below. A massive well done to The Trust and thanks for letting me be a part!

The Prince's Trust is celebrating its 40th Anniversary! |
"This is an opportunity for me to thank each and every one of you
for your invaluable contribution to the work of The Prince’s Trust.
As we
celebrate our 40th anniversary, we reflect on all that we have achieved
together.
Since
1976, 825,000 young people have been helped by The Trust and we certainly could
not have achieved this without your incredible passion for supporting young people
and helping them reach their potential.
Without
your help, we would not have been able to support 58,554 young people last
year.
Without
your commitment, so many young people would not have received the hours and
hours of invaluable mentoring and guidance to help them progress
into a positive outcome
You are also a vital part of our future and we
look forward to working with you to help the next generation of young
people. There are still over 600,000 young people who are unemployed, many
lacking key skills to move into work.
More than ever today, The Trust needs you, and above all the young people
need your continued support.
With heartfelt thanks and best wishes,
Martina Milburn CBE
