Surprisingly difficult to photograph, not only because of the amount of people there (trying to do the same as me) but because all the better viewpoints are out of bounds. The official photos could have only been taken when closed, and from other vantage points.
The gardens were founded in 1924 by French painter Jacques Majorelle, and feature a range of exotic trees, plants, and flowers from five continents, as well as an electric-blue art deco villa and a museum devoted to the work of the legendary fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent.
