Matlock Christmas Market

This weekend was the Matlock Christmas Market in which I helped out as a volunteer.

Matlock kicked off the festivities in style and put on a market of gargantuan proportions full with Christmas activities and over 100 market stalls.
The market boasted free entry and an array of activities including:

• Reindeer
• Santa's Grotto
• Traditional Christmas Cuisine
• Huge Fairground
• Craft Stalls
• Pony Sleigh Rides
• Christingle Service 

Maazi & Monk Bar Food Mela

Another great event organised by Maazi and Monk Bar, as you may have heard about the Maazi Food Festival which went down well in July. This Septembers event is being held at the same venue Hall-Leys Park, Matlock, such a pretty award winning park. The date for your diary is Sunday 27th September, 2015. So as you can see from the image below Maazi and Monk Bar would love to welcome you to the Food Mela so you can enjoy the atmosphere and delicious selection of food and drink from all over the world. 

Live Bhagra music and dance throughout the day, while you enjoy the street food from Maazi and sip cocktails from the Monk Bar.
