Matlock Festival

Matlock Festival will take place from Thursday 18th to Sunday 21st July, including Food, Ale, Music, Comedy, Cabaret and Children's Activities

On Sunday 21st July there will up to 50 stalls featuring Food, Ale & Craft all setting up on Hall Leys Park, Matlock. 

It all starts on Thursday Evening, with comedy and music at a couple of venues in Matlock Centre. Friday evening there are two free events at bars in Matlock, an acoustic night at TewntyTen and a range of local talent playing at the Black Hippo. You could pop in to them both as they are completely free of charge! 

Saturday the 20th is when the daytime activities begin, and there is much to see and do in Hall Leys Park. There will be a climbing wall, children's rides, storytelling, demonstrations of Rock crawling by Xtreme, and a Jazz Trio to produce a lovely ambience as you stroll round the park. 

Then Saturday night will be another memorable event, with a choice of excellent activities 

Sunday is the day for the HUGE Food in the Park festival! The range of food available is vast and varied - from wood fired pizza, to zebra burgers - from chocolate to cheese!

The climax of the weekend will be the Sneaky Peeky CABARET that is taking place at The Loft. The Loft is an exciting BRAND new venue, adding to the number of fantastic places in Matlock! Featuring Burlesque acts, comedy and music
