K̶r̶u̶g̶e̶ ̶ Kruje (thank you for the correction Paola!)

Kruje, a historic city nestled in the heart of Albania, is a captivating destination that offers a glimpse into the country's rich cultural heritage. With its stunning mountainous backdrop and panoramic views, Kruje is a place where history comes to life.

At the heart of the city lies the majestic Kruje Castle, a symbol of resilience and strength. This ancient fortress, perched on a hilltop, once served as the residence of Albania's national hero, Skanderbeg.

Visitors can explore its well-preserved walls, towers, and museum, which houses artifacts that chronicle the city's tumultuous past. The bustling bazaar, located just below the castle, is a vibrant hub of activity.

Here, travelers can immerse themselves in the sights, sounds, and aromas of
traditional Albanian life. From intricate handicrafts and colorful textiles to
tantalizing local cuisine, the bazaar offers a sensory feast for all who wander  through its narrow, cobblestone streets
